  • Eric IDE - despite some drawbacks and possible troubles and inconveniences with installation (for Linux using software channels such as aptitude, apt-get, Adept manager etc are highly recommended) I consider this IDE is the best one for Python, even in comparison to commercial versions of WingIDE and KOMODO.
